Nuzulul Quran

Nuzulul Quran which literally means the decrease of the Holy Qur'an (holy book of Islam) is a term that refers to an important event first decline in revelation of God to the last prophet and messenger of Islam that the Prophet Muhammad.

The first revelation was revealed to Prophet Muhammad is the letter of Al alaq paragraph 1-5 which, when translated into:

   
1. Read the (call) the name of your Lord Who created
   
2. He has created man from a lump of blood.
   
3. Read on, and your Lord is Most Generous,
   
4. Who teaches (men) with kalam perantaran
   
5. He taught man that which he did not know
When the revelation was revealed the Prophet Muhammad were in the Cave of Hira, when suddenly the angel Gabriel came to convey the revelation. As for the exact time or date of incident, there are differences of opinion among the scholars, some belief that the events occurred in the month of Rabi-Beginning on December 8 or 18 (December 18 based on the history of Ibn 'Umar), others in the month of Rajab on December 17 or 27 according to narrated by Abu Hurairah, and another is in the month of Ramadan on December 17 (Al-Bara 'bin Azib), 21 (Sheikh Al-Mubarakfuriy) and 24 (Aisha, and Watsilah Jabir bin Asqo')
